Since
before recorded history, native salmon and steelhead have made an epic
journey each year to spawn in the freshwater streams and rivers in which
they began life. Southern Oregon’s Sixes and Elk rivers support
some of the healthiest steelhead and salmon populations on the West Coast.
A guided trip offers the best chance for success. Deep sea charters
— with opportunities to boat halibut, ling cod and other Pacific
sport fish— are also available in nearby Bandon or Coos Bay.
